No, I'm not actually a toddler.  Well, not for many, many years.  But see those chubby little fingers?  They started making creative things before I could write my own name.  I was born to be creative.  And guess what?  So were you!

 

I've long believed that creating something with your hands creates joy in your heart.  And everyone is creative in their own way.  Some create with words, some with paint or wood, fabric, yarn, clay, paper, crayons, markers, pencils, stamps, or inks.  I could go on, but I think you get the picture.

Sometimes people say, "Tami, I'd love to be creative, I just don't have the time." Well, I believe that making the time to be creative is good medicine.  In fact, I believe making time to feed your creative soul is most important when you think you can least afford it.
