Neat & Tangled Throwdown Tutorial Challenge

Updated: Jul 7, 2019

I love this beautiful Magnolia Stamp and Die set from Neat & Tangled. And it was the perfect stamp set to join their Tutorial Throwdown challenge. In fact, I used this same Magnolia Stamp and Die set to create three different cards, in three different techniques because I enjoyed coloring the images so much. You can check out step by step photos of the two white outline techniques, and view the video tutorial below of the Arteza Brush Marker technique card. As always, I try to keep videos to five minutes or less, so even if you're in a hurry, you can follow along.

I stamped the images from the Neat & Tangled Magnolia Stamp Set onto Neenah Solar White 80 lb card stock with light grey hybrid ink from My Favorite Things. Then I used Arteza Brush markers to color all the images. I cut them out using the matching dies from the Neat & Tangled Magnolia Stamp and Dies set. I used coordinating colored card stock from my stash, (sorry, I don't know the specific brand or color) to create a dark brown and peach frame on a plain white A-2 card base. Then I used a scalloped and stitched die from My Favorite things, and Altenew's Metallic Shimmer Ink spray in Frayed leaf color with white card stock to make the top layer of my card base. I glued most of the images using Art Glitter Dries Clear adhesive, but popped up the sentiment and the largest of the magnolia images. It was a simple and fun card to create. I hope you'll check out lots of Neat & Tangled stamps! They are so fun to color.

Until next time, keep crafting!

Tami
